The first ALIBI Awards

I wish to acknowledge the Dharug and Gundungurra People as the custodians of the place where the Australian Ladies in Business Initiative is based. The sacredness of this place in the Blue Mountains is deeply enjoyed and I acknowledge that part of its special nature is because of the custodial role you undertake here. Thank you. I'd also like to acknowledge all other Aboriginal peoples across this land and your deep and unwavering spiritual connection to the land, sea, and community. My admiration for your cultural connections and community inspires me to hold a space for a connected, authentic, and fun community of business ladies. I pay respect to the Elders of the lands across Australia and am committed to continue listening and learning how the Australian Ladies in Business Initiative can be inclusive of First Nations people.
